Happy Friday everyone. By the time you wake up in the snowstorm on Monday, we will know the participants of Super Bowl LX. But before we get there, we have two huge conference title games to analyst and play.

We have both games covered with sides, totals, and props. We also take an early look at 2026 Heisman odds, and give you an NBA and NHL game of the night.

Make sure you listen to the Betting with Bearman podcast this week as we had ESPN Betting Analyst Anita Marks on to break down both conference championship games and talk coaching carousel.

Also, upgrade at the current $99/year plan as you don’t want to miss weekly NFL and CFB week picks in the fall. One $99 price (or $9.99/month) will get you every single newsletter unlocked, all our trends and picks and access to me of course.

- Sides: 20-20-3 (0-2-1 postseason)
- Totals: 17-24 (2-2 postseason)

Total: 134-108-3 (55.3%) (7-8-1 postseason)

AFC Championship: New England Patriots (-4.5, 42.5) at Denver Broncos - 3p Sunday

  • The line is like this, with the Patriots as the favorite, simply because of the QB situation in Denver, where Jarred Stidham will throw an NFL pass for the first time in two years - as a starter in the AFC Championship game - due to Bo Nix’s injury.

  • Most books will say the difference between Nix and Stidham is 3-4 points, not the 6-7 in which the line moved.

  • We have no idea what we are going to get with Stidham, but the Denver defense should have a field day with the mistake-prone Drake Maye. Maye has 6 fumbles (3 lost) and 2 INTs in two postseason games. You can get away with it against a Chargers and Texans team that gives it right back, but will Denver? They might with Stidham, or maybe Payton attempts to minimize the potential damage with a guy making his first start in forever.

  • Broncos ended the year with 2nd-best total defense, allowing just 278.2 YPG, 3rd in scoring (18.3 PPG), 2nd-best rush defense (91.1) and tops in passing yards per play (5.37). We saw what happened in the last two games with the Pats actually facing good defenses in Chargers and Texans. Scored 16 and 21 on offense.

  • While, the Patriots with an establish QB, very well may win the game, I do like the points at home and a low-scoring affair.

  • Also, don’t miss one of our favorite trends of the year, which you can find in our “Trend of the Day” section below.

Denver +5.5 (given out on Monday), Under 42.5

Stick around for our NFC Championship preview and picks, as well as our NBA and NHL picks.
