Happy Wednesday, the last day of the week without football. We like to get ahead on Betting with Bearman, so we have our Thursday Night Football card, featuring a pick off Seahawks-Cardinals, as well as our Same Game Parlay, props and plays for the book promos that are offered.
We also take a look at our Futures portfolio and consider some additions to it.
Make sure you listen to the Betting with Bearman podcast this week as we will have the NFL and CFB covered from head to toe with a special guest, VSiN’s Matt Youmans of VSiN PrimeTime on weeknights, where I am often a guest, and a big fast food fan.
And upgrade at the current $99/year plan as you don’t want to miss weekly NFL and CFB week picks this fall. One $99 price (or $9.99/month) will get you every single newsletter unlocked, all our trends and picks and access to me of course.
Let’s get to it!

Seahawks-Cardinals on Thursday Night Football
Seattle Seahawks (-1.5, 43.5) at Arizona Cardinals
The Seahawks, after a rough first game and tough loss to the Niners, have been impressive in consecutive wins vs. the Steelers and Saints. Yes, the level of competition needs to be considered, but they dominated both games.
The Cardinals have basically done the same thing, but in different order and less impressively, beating the Panthers and the Saints and losing a one-possession game to the Niners.
Seattle has dominated the series, sweeping the season series each of the last three seasons. In the six games, all but one stayed under 48 points. I lean home team here, but no strong conviction, so will head to the prop market.
Trey Benson o3.5 receptions (+105 at DraftKings)
Welcome to the starting running back roll, Mr. Benson. After James Conners ankle injury, Benson is now RB1. Most are going to want to take his rushing total now that he will get a bulk of the carries, but I am going to the receiving side.
Seattle, as good as their defense has been this season, has forced QBs to go dump off central. Christian McCaffrey had 9 receptions Week 1, Warren and Gainwell combined for 7 receptions for the Steelers in Week 2, and although Kamara/Miller only combined for 3 last week, it was a blowout early, changing things on both sides of the ball.
And Murray is not afraid to hit his RBs either. Benson had four receptions when not in the lead role in Week 2 and him and Conners each had 3 last week, with Conners getting injured in the 2nd quarter.
Was hoping to get a 2.5, which you can move it to, but the juice is -220. That’s more of a same game parlay play, which we will have below.
